Default WW2 British para wing -- opinions please

Hello all, I picked up this wing recently with the understanding that it was of WW2 manufacture, but I would appreciate the opinions of others who know the details of wartime British para wings much better than I do.

Regards,
Donovan

Hi Donovan,

Looks like a nice original wartime split feather wing to me.

As Paul says it is a genuine WW2 split feather pattern wing, unissued /unworn and looks to have been stuck with adhesive into an album or some other display judging by the paper residue on the back.

As a digression perhaps, but recently I noticed on ebay a copy wing (being sold as a copy) which had the split feather feature.

One to be aware of.

Hi Jerry,

If you can find it again and it is still listed, perhaps you can post a link to compare please?

Jack,

I cannot find it, if I do I will post the link.

It was not likely to fool anyone but was interesting in having the split feather flaw.
