Default London Yeomanry badges good or bad ??

Hi all, i have been given these two badges today to have a look at with the view to buying them,they are from a friend of a friend who has had them in a box with some other bits & is after selling them,having not handled the real thing on thses two would like the view of other forum members,

I wouldn't buy those Gerard, wrong metal & the horrible lugs on both, give them back mate,

As Wilf has mentioned. That particular and strange "GM" finish(?) is indicative of copies/fakes and restrikes. Once you have seen a few more with that type of finish, you will recognise it very easily.... I know I do. Notwithstanding all the other possible 'fake' signs.

Thanks to both of you,i must admit having looked at them more, i can see what you mean with the colour,with the lugs what am i looking out for ! im still trying to master the real thing with them
