Default NIH WW2 Beret badge & Ayrshire Yeo'

Couple of new finds I need some help with.

North Irish Horse WW2 Beret Badge - Front
North Irish Horse WW2 Beret Badge - Back

Ayrshire Yeomanry - Front
Ayrshire Yeomanry - Back

These two were picked out of a box that seemed to be mostly fake but with enough genuine badges to keep you interested. Comments and opinions appreciated.

Tony

The fact that the lions beard is not cut away from the head is not a good sign. This is the last pattern of the badge before the a/a version. The restrikes all share this same unvoided beard feature with the a/a badge. I would much rather see the cut out version.

Nasty copy:

Tony, here's one I picked up a few weeks back, I don't know of its a genuine example, but when compared to yours, I think I'd prefer yours any day, the details are much better.
That's not to say yours is genuine because I don't know.
Regards Tony.

Thanks for the replies gents.

Alan - I wasn't confident about the Ayrshire Yeo'. The badge is completely unfamiliar to me. I usually chuck these back even if they look OK. I had some doubts about the slider and the detail around the eye looked poor. The badge has a pleasing design and the depth of strike is good, which is why I took a chance.

Tony - If the NIH is fake it's a worryingly good one. The detail is excellent particularly the face of the angel. Nothing obvious, I can see, to count against it but that's not saying much.
