I cannot tell you what the badge is, but the translation I believe reads "Lebanon First"

Hi,

This is a beret badge from the " Lebanese Forces" Christian militia. Worn by only by Mountain Troops.

Here's one I found some time ago, not complete but it's a start.

Didier,

The website quoted by Jo is only for The Lebanese Armed Forces. You are seeking information on the Lebanese Forces, which was the armed component of the Christian Phalange party or LF. Two different animals. Google Lebanese Forces Militia, there are several sites. Today LF are now a fractured political entity trying to survive in the face of Syrian domination of Lebanon, and fanatical Moslem attitudes.
The LF are becoming marginalised. They were? are a bulwark against lebanon becoming another Iran. I believe a few members of the LF transitioned into the new Lebanese Armed Forces which is the sole legal military force in lebanon, aside from the Islamic militias.

The LF militia were a very effective fighting force armed and equipped by the Israelis, unfortunatley with a lot of cast off but serviceable equipment. The LF had many special units trained also by various western trainers, covertly of course.
