Mail Order Collection in 90's
Morning All,
I picked this RMP badge up and was told it was produced for a mail order collection in the 1990's, can anyone confirm or tell me anything about that? Thanks a lot, Michael

Michael,
Probably from the New Regimental Capbadge Collection by Military Mailwise. Also marketed under different names (see flyers). I have acquired a complete set of these badges. Most in original packing and serial numbered. The badges are a mix of sliders with some maker marked "AMMO UK" and "FIRMIN LONDON" in small font. Some badges have lugs instead of sliders e.g. 4/7DG, DWR, STAFFORDS, ACC, RAMC, RE. Some badges have narrower than usual unmarked sliders. Thanks a lot Tim, that matches what I was told and they also mentioned having others with the makers marks you said.
I'd not heard of it so it's good to be able to attribute it correctly. Thanks for the help, Michael
