I have removed the "replacement slider" on my bi-metal..... and hey presto the 5 is backfilled with yellow braise and you can just make out one of the braise holes in the top of the 5...... you can also see the edge of the white metal 5 flush against the brass. The pennons are silvered.

Well thats the one I was on about (and pictured next to your economy in post #15) And what does this quote say:- Quote:
