is this a wind up? One is an ORs Bim badge the other a c.1916 All GM economy!

I forgot about the fact that you cant see the smaller images on the post when you are at work. I will PM you with the larger images (not the 5thL economy I just purchased.... the other 5th L I have).

I'm not at work, the two images you have shown side by side show my economy against a bi-metal badge (overlaid silver 5 and lower pennants!!)

I have removed the "replacement slider" on my bi-metal..... and hey presto the 5 is backfilled with yellow braise and you can just make out one of the braise holes in the top of the 5...... you can also see the edge of the white metal 5 flush against the brass. The pennons are silvered.

The one I have just shown needs to go up to Dave anyway

In no way was I saying the "Long pennon'ed" all brass was the same as your c1916 economy!

BTW [BELOW] here is another "long pennon'ed" all brass (Pic left - grainy and a bit out of focus).... next to the "long pennon'ed" all brass I bought yesterday (pic right - grainy and a bit out of focus) - as described and compared in post #11.
