Badges for sale UK military museums

In 1987 I visited the RAC museum at Bovington and purchased 1 each of the a/a hatbadges they had on sale. Do you think they will be OK?

In 1988 my brother went to a military surplus store at Aldershot and purchased one each of every a/a hatbadge. I can't remember the name of the shop. Any views as to whether those badges would be legit?
