Default Mystery British Grenades

Not of a mystery of course for those in the know - most grateful for any information on who wore these and in what order of dress.

Many thanks in anticipation

I am unsure why there is such a significant size difference, possibly the smaller ones worn on Mess Dress but just a guess.

Someone here will tell us.

I have to say they are extremely common as they were worn (and probably still are) for well over a 100 years.
