Walimohd & Co Nairobi
An interesting maker mark on this Army Pay Corp cap badge. The badge also appears to be a locally cast piece. I guess that goes with out saying. Better quality than I am used to seeing for a local cast piece.
Have looked through the maker mark link and did not see this one. All comments welcomed Thanks Jack

Very nice Jack and quite scarce, not something you encounter very often, the war of a hundred days is largely forgotten and was certainly overshadowed at the time by all that was happening elsewhere, apart from the East African forces, you will come across similar cast badges, both Union Defence Force as well as British Army.

Hi Jack,
Yes a lovely find and by a rarely seen maker. Here is a pic of my 4th KAR Dobbies Nairobi example. Cheerio, Roy

Thanks Fougasse and Frank for your comments.
Roy that is a very nice piece. I need to come up with some trading material. Best Jack
