Do you want to know the maker Alan? Or the Regiment?

Kelly College had their name on it so it's not that. I would be interested in the regiment but the maker might help ID it.

A badge that got made, but missed the bronzing or blackening process?

...well, I have only ever seen Bronzed badges from this die. Is the slider on the brass the same as the example I have shown?

The sliders appear to be the same.

Hard to see, but Alan's badge is from a slightly different die.

That's what I thought. The scrolls in particular are quite a high angle that resembles some of the DH designs. However as the issued WW1 badges for the DH and RWY were one and the same in bronze then that muddies the waters.

...its the same badge (die).... the scrolls have been pushed upwards or dinged. Both have the ghost "I".
