Peter,

He's got almost 600 items of militaria on eBay and is selling more genuine SAS wings than the whole of 'B' Squadron were issued.

Mind you they are only £199.00

regards

He's certainly got some amazing stuff.

But why do you say 'Oh dear!'? Is it a fake? Or what?

Cheers

William,

It is one of the best known fakes and they have been around ever since I can remember, there are usually a number on E bay at any one time, usually at around £10- £15 ( hence the " dear " )

One here:

Thomas,
Whilst the MF might be running low, he is certainly not short of "Modern" cap badges :eek. Very few of which I would personaly want to add to a collection of genuine items! It is always disappointing when a sellers has many "Nice" items, such as the medals, that they have to peddle so many obviously reproduction items?

A glance at the reverse and anyone can see this was made very recently, complete dross, certainly a seller to avoid!

Seems there is more to this story than what it looked like at first glance: http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/for...t=45489&page=3

A lot of confusion and aggravation could have been avoided if ploppy had clearly stated the pics in the other thread came off of original sellers Ebay site, which actually is contrary to Forum rules, see here: http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/forum_rules.htm
However, questioning his integrity now seems uncalled for.

Rgds, Thomas.
