cloth cap badges
Please could any forum member let me know if they have any of the three cloth cap badges or seen them for sale. embroidered warwick school ccf [2nd version] and bullion versions of chigwell school and lancaster royal grammar school.

Chigwell OTC
Chigwell. If anyone has any documentary evidence or a confirmed specimen of the bullion badge I would be very interested to know of it. Rawlings does list a cloth version but from my research I believe this to be an error. There is a bullion bishop's mitre badge which was definitely used by the Church Lads' Brigade and I suspect this has been misattributed to Chigwell. The same goes for the metal collar badges that are sometimes presented as being for the school, they are definitely CLB.
