Default Border Regiment Officer's Badge - J.R. Gaunt

Hello Folks,
Could I please get some feedback on the authenticity of this badge?
I searched the forum but was only able to find a couple of Officer's badges and none by Gaunt.
Thanks very much for your time gents.
Roy

Thank you gentlemen!
It's not mine but I'm considering it.
Any idea of value?
I can't find any comparables.
Thanks again and sorry for the annoying "what's it worth" question.
