Hi, had these for some time as RAAC but can't remember, if I ever knew, what they are. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance, Mike

Hi Mike,

The 1 Tp patch is 1 Troop, 'B' Squadron, 3rd/4th Cavalry Regiment - circa late 2000s and possibly worn in Iraq.

The one next to is is my old squadron - 'B' Squadron, 2nd/14th Light Horse (QMI) - circa late 2000s from memory. I think worn in Iraq and also a private purchase item from the PRI Shop.

The one on bottom is one of the many different patches made for Overwatch Battle Group (West) 4 in Iraq - circa 2007/2008. That rotation was led by 'A' Squadron, 2nd/14th Light Horse (QMI). I think this was worn by RAAOC (ordnance/logistics) soldiers attached to OBG(W)-4 rather than RAAC soldiers.

From Wiki:

OBG(W)-4: November 2007 – June 2008 (Lieutenant Colonel Chris Websdane)
HQ, 2nd/14th Light Horse Regiment (Queensland Mounted Infantry)
A Squadron, 2nd/14th Light Horse Regiment (Queensland Mounted Infantry)
A Company, 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment
Combat Support Element
Combat Service Support Element

Hope this helps. I don't have my notes with me at present so these are from memory.

Mick
