That Tom Hardy seems to be everywhere at the moment. Even makes the news today. Must admit his roles do get your attention. I don't know if anyone watched the BBC series 'Taboo' on TV a month or two ago. He played the hero returning from overseas to claim his inheritance and at the same time taking on the East India Company in 1812 London. He created the most amazing character I've seen on TV!

Default Tom Hardy

I think he played Alfie Solomons in the Peaky Blinders series extremely well, the character was charismatic to say the least.

Atonement was a very good film and the vision of Dunkirk it painted sticks in the mind and is very moving. New film look to have a good cast - Did I spot Tommy Selby from Peaky Blinders? From the clips the beaches look rather empty-perhaps the dunes are packed? Will no doubt go to see it and have my fingers crossed- I hope the Union Flag was intentionally showing the British Army in distress. Regards, Paul. PS Yes- Cillian Murphy is in it.

I can't wait, it has a brilliant director, a great cast and Harry Styles from One Direction is in it too!

I think I will still be happy with the 1958 original with the likes of John Mills and Cyril Raymond, no matter, how good, or indeed, bad, this film turns out to be.
