Default red spade on white badge RASC ident

also the attached badge sewn onto a RASC souvenir pyjama case. The red spade on a white background would appear to be a formation badge. The unit is the 97th Company, 5th Motor Transport Reserve.

Any thoughts?

many thanks again, Dave

Default 97 Coy RASC

Here's the same sign - unidentified until today (!) - painted in miniature on a wooden shield of mostly RASC units in the ME and Italy. Mike
