Default Yorkshire related bullion beret badge?

hi, I wonder if anyone can identify this bullion badge for me. The running horse would suggest it has a Yorkshire connection. Its 2.25 inches tall if that helps.
many thanks in anticipation

Dave

I would suggest its more to do with the Queens Own Hussars or The Queens Royal Hussars or whatever amalgamation now exists.

regards

Depending on whether that's a QC or KC, it could be 3rd The King's Own Hussars beret badge as worn on the maroon beret when they were attached to Airborne Forces in the late 40's.
Worn as a side hat badge too according to posts 12 & 13 on this thread:

Its an Officers beret badge.... I remember it being worn as such. On Ex' on Salisbury Plain (Early 1990s) with an Officer wearing that in his beret and a horse fly munching into his skull at the same time.... on top of my FOX..... funny how you remember these things
