Well it's about the 12th that have appeared over the last couple of years on eBay and regional auction houses. Have two if you want one for £450 it's all yours.
Until the 3rd one appeared I had been very happy with mine. Lugs look spot on.
Most look genuinely aged.
None of the eBay sellers would engage in conversation about where they had got them, I tried.
Ask Rod where his came from?
Rod is one of the good guys in the badge world so I don't think he is trying to purposely deceive anyone.
I think the truly genuine ones are a slightly different camel.
Kind regards
Dan

I won't make a comment as to if this badge is genuine or not. However I to have seen a few of these come onto the market recently, via Ebay.

The genuine New Zealand Imperial Camel Corp I own ,has a longer neck and legs I believe .

Thanks for sharing images of your original badge, very helpful and interesting. Looking carefully I can see a number of differences from the one under discussion.

Cheers,

Roy

One of these is in the most recent Bosleys sale, along with the plain camel (Australian) badge, these seem to appear together on eBay and other regional auction rooms over the past few years in U.K. I assume as all badges are authentic on Bosleys these are ok?!!?!??!!!!!!!!

Old stumpy rearing his head again. Be wise and don't bid on the NZ one.
