Hello Chaps,

I just wanted to give an update on this badge.

Iain very generously allowed me to acquire this badge for my modest Boer War collection and I'm thrilled with it. I can confirm that it is unmarked silver.

My experience in this area is limited so I will bow to those more knowledgable than I, save to say I'm very pleased to own it.
