All evidence suggests that any versions of this badge with COMMANDO over the top are - at best - Commando Association badges, or spurious. They should not be confused with No2 Commando insignia. I have seen lovely hand cut silver versions with COMMANDO but as one American Politician said of another 'if you put lipstick on a pig you've still got a pig'. (Personally I like pigs)
