SAVF British nationality armlet
Hello,
This is my first posting to the forum. I have been able to appreciate it for the seriousness of the replies but never until now intervened. I would appreciate if anyone could give me any information around the attached armlet. There is a name stencilled on the back 850022 Sgt A Brooks SAVF. Is 850022 a Royal artillery regimental number or from another Commonwealth nationality? What is the meaning of SAVF ? Could it be a WW 2 brassard as used by 2 Para Bde? Many thanks
