Default UNKNOWN TO ME Scottish badge
Can anyone say where this badge was worn on the uniform and by whom and what period?
Finally is it original or a restrike?

Can't imagine what Alex said !?? ... but anyway sorry to say its a fake (probably from the same stable as your 34F badge on the other thread). It is in fact a repro of a 42nd Foot (Black Watch) Bonnet/Glengarry badge circa 1850-60 depending on what source you consult. I hope you did not purchase many more of these items from the same vendor. Regards Jeff

HI
IT was a deceased estate and I bought over 100 badges from his widow but I luckly suspected that they are mostly restrikes so only gonna post the ones I am not sure about....
