Hi Mick,
Thank you very much for your speed of response. How difficult in your opinion would it be to obtain genuine specimens of these badges ? Regards Bantam |

Hi Bantam,
Mate, those badges are becoming hard to find. The 17th and 24th probably are reasonably easy to find but the 18th is very hard to find - I guess if you came across one at a dealer, you'd be looking at easily over AUD$300 for it. The supply of Australian 1930 - 1942 period badges is drying up - even on ebay I see less of them now than I did 2-3 years ago. And when they turn up an auctions, you get certain militaria dealers bidding on them thus driving up the prices collectors pay. Mick Last edited by slick_mick; 27-06-08 at 04:40 AM. |

Hi Slick Mick,
Mick thanks very much for your answer.I thought that may have been the case I have visited Arms Fairs and there as certainly been a decrease in Commonwealth Forces Badges.I also have noted a steep increase in auction prices for similar badges.I suppose I was hoping for you to say you had an abundance of them going very cheaply. Thanks again for your help. Regards Bantam |
