Default RAF sweetheart badge or Nurse's badge?

Hi Air Force guys/gals,
Here is a small brooch with safety pin attachment which has me puzzled. Metal badge is set in perspex. Is it a sweetheart brooch or was it worn by nursing staff?
Thanks, Tinto

Tinto,
looks like a standard RAF Medical Services Collar which has been turned into a brooch! Collar would have been lugged N/S.

Hi Andy,
Thanks, I thought that would be the case. There are vestiges of lugs N/S.
I do know that New Zealand nurses in WW2 wore a NZ "Onward" brooched badge in ivory to avoid soiling their uniform.
Cheers, Tinto
