Gurkha Para Co.
This badge has sat in my collection for 20 years. Each time it is pulled out I wonder if it is a period made original or a reproduction? Thought it was time to ask and see what others think. The embroidery always looked a bit thin to my eye.
thanks for any opinions Jack

In my opinion this is a reproduction of a Gurkha Para Bn flash from WW2. The Gurkha Indep Para Coy of the 1960s wore a similar design, a very simple printed flash made I believe in Singapore. This example is a reasonably accurate reproduction. The Coy also wore black titles GURKHA and the maroon beret with a Para Regt badge on a cloth backing in Brigade of Gurkhas colours.

Thank you Mike, I can now move it out of my unknown and questionable file.
