Default Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers

Hello all,

I was given a couple of items a while ago, a Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers cap badge & a Northampton shoulder title. Hopefully they are OK – thanks in advance for any replies.

Regards Alan Y.

I'd say a big thumbs up for the badge. With having the sweats behind.

Simon.

No problem, and the flag is left facing, so the earlier pattern. I think pre 1923. If I'm wrong someone will correct the date.

Its the 1898 pattern badge (SPN 4684), used until superceeded by the 1927 pattern and with that slider probably after c. 1906. Supplemented of course by the all GM version from c. 1916 to c. 1919. Looks perfect to me.

Thanks for the confirmation of a good badge John, and the pattern and dating adds greatly to my limited knowledge.

Regards Alan.
