A fake I am afraid. The common over large scroll repro with an added scroll.

Astounding! When you look at the number of sales he’s had, how come he’s still in business? It is a real service when there are knowledgeable people on this forum willing to straighten out we, the unknowing, and prevent us from wasting money on questionable items. Thanks guys, even though he does say in his “notes” that he cannot guarantee it’s authenticity and that it may be a copy! D.J.

I noticed the die strike of the SA scroll on this Essex badge, is the same as the example on his DLI.
