Default light Armoured car Squadrons, what badges?

Hello
I'm not sure if its the correct place for this.
The Armoured motor batteries of the Light Armoured Car Squadrons, what cap badges and insignia did they wear please?
I know they were originally RNAS and then transfered to the Army, did they become part of the Motor Machine Gun Corps and wear there badges when they became Army?
I've a picture of 2Lt Thomas Digby, ex 4th DG, he's wearing General List bronze cap and collars?
Any photos would be great also.

Your time and help are greatly appreciated

Cannot get to my copy of Westlake at present but think from memory that this is the shoulder title worn by the Light Armoured Car Squadrons. Shall confirm later today and have the cap badge as well. All spares BTW, cheers Dean

Actually the 1 AMB shoulder title (Westlake 390) was actually for the 1st Armoured Motor Battery within the Machine Gun Corps formed in 1915 from Machine Gun Corps and Army Service Corps personnel and saw service in East Africa. Easier with Westlake to hand. Cheers Dean

The ASC raised several units in the Near East, Far East and East Africa. An unofficial badge worn was a a copy of the West Surrey lamb and flag badge but with the words changed to THE LAMBS. Another was a sheep's head in cast brass. The armoured car badge in Sean's post was worn as an unofficial arm badge by ASC armoured car companies in Palestine. Oops, that should be Middle East, not Far East.

Interesting, thank you Hoot.
I've seen a bronze LAMBS collar badge somewhere, so that's who they are!

Cheers
