Default Pipers Broach Battle Honours - Unkown

Hi just arrived no fixings that have ever been to rear, battle Honours 30 in total around Circumference, any ideas on this for being real? and most importantly if it is the Era, it is all brass which I suspect does not bode well! But have never come across anything like these?

Many thanks Billy

It looks like part of an HLI plaid brooch. If you look on pg 2 of the Pipers' Badge gallery there is a complete HLI brooch for comparison.
Cheers,
Alex

It certainly looks like it ought to be, but its brass so has to be a copy for this I would think it would be Silver, at a pinch Silver plated, but not plsi brass! Many thanks billy
