Mint or Minty Queens Regt
This one came in the post this morning, looks brand new, small size Queens Regiment cap badge, 11mm Gaunt London mark.
Opinions sought is it a new copy or a mint original? Tony.

The fact that it doesn't have the dreaded '.' between the GAUNT & LONDON makes me think it may be a good one.

Thanks Alex, Mike I wonder if your a/a badge has a clipped slider?
Tony.

If you look in the Maker's Marks section, the mark on your badge is shown as believed to be an original mark.

Ive had a good look and the answer is yes it may have been clipped but rather than leaving the end square. Its been rounded off using a grinding wheel or a belt sander. Unless you look at very carefully you wouldnt notice .
