Default Solid Crown on RAOC opinions please

Hi all,

I picked up this RAOC cap badge looks and feels ok but has a soild crown, it looks like the stamping pushed the brass through the crown but not all the way to void it ? whats your feeling on the badge, did they make a non void crown RAOC as ive not seen one as yet,[apart from this one of course]the badge was only a couple of pounds from my local charity shop so not much lost if a copy

thanks in advance

Gerard

Thanks Tony,

My gut feeling was ok, just the crown was a thought

I feel it is just a production error and crown was not voided correctly, other than that it is OK

Thanks Mike,

As I hoped, another £2.00 well spent why is it the wife never says well done on getting a badge for £2.00 but let's me have it both barrels on the odd more, expensive purchase

Just a makers variation, I have one as well. Several other Corps badges also came with both voided and unvoided crowns.
