Kings Liverpool Duds
In view of the number of examples of this dud that seem to be doing the rounds at the moment I thought I would post this picture of the "standard" bi metal dud.
This badge is also found in all black, all white metal, bronze ( finish ), all brass and reversed metals. Examples were doing the rounds some time ago ( see my article in Crown Imperial No.92 of Autumn 1998 ) but I had not seen too many examples for some time until the last 12 months or so. The most obvious give away with these badges is the rough finish on the body of the horse. P.B.

I guess this one is also one of the duds. It came with a small collection of badges I bought about 6 months ago and has been in the pending drawer ever since as I have never really liked it. Paddy |

I think the more people point out copies/fakes/duds in this way, it helps in the battle against the fakers. Ivan |
