Default British Embassy Badge

Bullion wire embroidered. 52 mm to the outer border of the bullion. Could this have been worn on a cap or a uniform? Might it have been worn by British soldiers attached to the embassy or possibly by troops of the hosting country. In this case possibly the USA. it appears to have some age o it.

Thanks
Jack

I think it looks like a badge to be worn at the top of a sleeve. The colour would suggest a military connection.

Altcar73 may be able to help you if you drop him a PM.
