I would like to share this very interesting cap badge the detail is great I understand WW1 Indian army ?

Hi Chay - a very nice example of the Gwalior State Forces. The Imperial Service Troops is an area of badge collecting that is not very well documented and the only illustrated examples I've seen are in Cox's Military Badges of the Empire ( of which your badge is amongst those illustrated)

I have more badges from the east to post up but I’m not sure if they are Indian,I do think the design and striking of this badge is stunning!
The other badges are all cast

This one is die struck and a very fine example. [Cox no. 2608]. Some of the princely states had insignia manufactured in GB, as did most of the AFI units, and the quality tends to be far superior to locally made cast badges.
