Default Shoulder titles in WW1

some help please

I see shoulder titles that are 'Canada' which are voided and solid one piece with the Canada raised

when are where were these variations worn?

are the voided ones WW2 issue or also in WW1?

I assume the solid one piece ones are WW1 - correct?

were they worn with the Canadian Corps only...or also with the CEF units as they were sent across

Finally the shoulder title 'INF' - when and where these worn? By the CEF units or in the Canadian Corps

were these 'INF' shoulder titles worn alone or with 'Canada' shoulder titles or with unit numerals or both?

I have 105 battalion (PEI) badges, 13, 42, 72 badges and 73 badges...so wondering what shoulder titles they would have worn with each

Hi Wayne,
The solid CANADA tablets were worn by other ranks and some officers of the CEF (including the Canadian Corps).
The INF titles were worn in combination with the Bn numbers and the CANADA titles.
Some units had unique shoulder titles.

Default CEF titles

Who would have worn these CEF titles?

Mike

Yes.

However I have yet to see a picture of someone wearing them as such. But if the lugs are bent I am sure they were!

Could be associated with 1st contingent.

Cheers
Rob
