One of that size is more likely to go inside a laurel wreath.

The square letter T was supposed to be used on the shoulder straps of the Greatcoat.

I have found a thread about the "T" in wreath.

I didn't know about the non serif "T" being used on the greatcoat, was it worn with a county title? and was it just for Officers?
