Thought I would show members this latest addition to my collection and one that I have been searching for for a long long time.

Nice Badge of fairly local interest - I presume Cammell Laird of Birkenhead

It is a lovely badge. I saw one recently but hesitated. When I finally decided to buy it, someone had been decisive and bought it ahead of me. A great find Sir.
The company came about by the amalgamation of Laird & son of Birkenhead and Johnson Cammell of Sheffield.

Always nice when a badge goes back home to where it belongs. That is great.
Cheers

Nice badge and a good find for you.

I'm in the same boat looking for a Smith's docks badge, my grandfather worked there but it also seems to be quite elusive.
