Divisonal Device: 1st Division, 3rd Brigade?
Could please somebody explain me the meaning of this Divisional insignia? Something like 1st Division, 3rd Brigade? I've heard of a 3rd Infantry Brigade Group, but don't know much of the period it was raised in: BAOR? Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi Loupie,
Definitely 3rd Infantry Brigade Group. I'll confess I am not altogether certain of a time frame for it, but I believe mid- or late-1950's. Someone may have a better time frame on this than I. Dean |

Yes, it is the formation sign of the 3rd Infantry Brigade. The brigade was in Northern Ireland in 2004, when it was disbanded.
