Does any know what these are?they are bigger than the usual "major crowns".

Depending on size, Staff Sergeants crowns or WOIII.

Canadian WW2 and post WW2 in manufacture from the colour, shape and flatness.

Due to shortages of junior officers in the early part of WW2 the post of WOPC (Warrant Officer Platoon Commander) was created, along with the appointment, the rank of Warrant Officer Class III was created. Didn't last very long though !

Simon has the id. Canadian made Warrant officer crowns. They were also used for staff sergeant.
