Default badge selling

When looking to buy there are so many different descriptions of the origins of badges, e.g. what does "original issue" mean - is there any list of definitions that sellers use to describe their wares?

Its best not to judge a badge by how it is described- just how you view it. You need to assess if it ticks the boxes for what you are looking for. There is no governance for the hobby- anyone can sell a badge and describe it how they wish using words such as 'genuine' or phrases like 'original issue'. Some sellers care about what they are doing and have knowledge-others are just trying to make a sale. Buyer beware. Regards, Paul.
