Default Victorian Light Infantry badge

I am struggling to identify the badge being worn in this cabinet photograph by a London photographer. Does anyone recognise it?

Roy,

many thanks for the positive identification. The photograph was purchased at Malvern this morning so not too far from Shropshire. I had worked out the light infantry connection but the London photographer threw me.

Best wishes,

Simon
