Default Royal Norfolk Regiment Cap Badge - Am I Missing Something ????

I recently sold the cap badge in the images below. The buyer returned it claiming that it is a restrike. I am pretty sure that this badge is 100% genuine (it is clearly Firmin marked on the slider). I am always willing to be educated and improve my knowledge of badges. So....is it real or is it (as the buyer stated) a restrike. If it is the latter what are the telltale signs ?

Thanks in advance

PL

PS I did give the buyer, a no quibble refund in case anyone wanted to know !

Paul,
the buyer is always right!

Except when they are wrong and in this case, from the images I'd say they've returned a perfectly good badge in almost mint condition! Nothing about it would indicate to me that it's a copy!

Thanks Andy, confirms what I thought. I did ask the buyer, out of interest, what led him to believe that it was a restrike, I got no answer other than the badge returned.
