Default 9th Battn HLI

I received this badge as part of a lot and my first impression is that it's not good. However before I condemn it to the trash pile I'd like a second opinion from the forum members as I have no experience with this badge and would hate to make a mistake...

Hi Jim,
Hard to make a judgement without handling the badge. It does appear flatter than the two I have.
Cheers, Tinto

Jim,
I agree with the above! I tend to avoid any "Black Watch" pattern badge with a anorexic St Andrew with an out of proportion head!

Default Black Watch Badge

Hi Jim i have one the same as this and i was not to sure if original or not realy good finish on the badge, but 95% sure its a copy.
Scottish badges i find hard to tell if original or not so try not to get involved with them.

Andy,
it's a copy! Poor definition to lettering and Pantomime Head!

Does anyone have a good one to post that they can confirm all the positive detail to look for.

Simon.

Hi All,
Here are mine for comparison. Note one O/Rs badge is LACESSET, the other LACESSIT.
Cheers, Tinto
