Guide to spotting fake shoulder title?

I'm now starting my quest to find a 1st City Battalion Shoulder Title, is there a guide or some key points to weeding out a howler?

hi

i only have a 2 CITY MANCHESTER, but ....

on the back on the title , 2 littles "foot" on the large part on the title "CITY MANCHESTER" for braze the "2" (ring on the picture)

all the good pals titles i have see have it ,

I had the misfortune to pick these two up a while back and they are wrong IMO Pay particular attention to the lugs, they appear to have mould lines, are the same shape on both titles, except that is, the lug that appears to have a repair at the top of the loop, which I think you can make out from the picture.
