And they're probably not sterling either, probably alloyed with lead or something to keep the weight but reduce the cost of making them.

I doubt it, he has been selling repro junk for years and unfortunately the uneducated new collectors are buying his crap.
Then when they come to sell the badge, they are in for a rude awakening. I really believe this is fraud, he lists in the original section of WW2 and is passing off his crap as original.

Has anyone complained to ebay about him selling repros as original?
