Default LDSH

Here is a very nice WW2 type LDSH cap badge, nice crisp striking, with unusual makers mark.

Made by Scully but the marking is unusual, WSCULL LTd MONTREAL.

Come to think of it, this is the only LDSH cap badge I have that does have a makers mark.

Mike:
Nice badge. What is it that makes it a WW2 cap badge? It is the beaver and the tree nearly centered on the shield?

Yes, and the look of the badge, although LDSH had a beaver late I believe around 1917 this pattern with the brass is consistent with WW2 issue. Any CEF LDSH I have had has always had a darker finish to it, never a bright brass look.

This may even be 1930's, like I stated the striking is very crisp.
