Hi, Thanks for the link to Extracts of Regimental Orders, 1st Regiment Sikh Local Infantry. There would also have been an early badge to the 1st Sikh Local Infantry worn possibly only by British Officers of 1st Sikh Local Infantry which is not illustrated in the images I'd sent, haven't seen one though as yet.
I have an early badge circa 1847-1857 badge of the 4th Regt Sikh Local Infy.
