5th Militia Battalion Kings Liverpools
Interesting E bay lot, a picture from the Transvaal War Album of 1900 which shows the renumbered 5th Militia Battalion ( the militia battalions had been the 3rd and 4th battalions ) Kings Liverpool Regiment after two additional line battalions had been formed:

This double image page has graced x bay for quite a while. Unfotunately for KLR students, there are no details to be seen of the men of the 5th. It is sad that these old books and magazines are being chopping up just to sell individual images.
Anyway, they exist in libraries where you can study them at leisure.
