Default HLI shoulder title question

Please help to clear some confusion as to when the HLI with bugle above was worn and when the Highland with attached bugle was worn.
Thanks,

CB

According to Ray Westlake ...

"H L I alone was worn on the khaki drill tunics from 1884, other ranks adding the bugle in 1908..... A new title was issued c1930 bugle / HIGHLAND. These were worn for a few years, only being replaced in 1936 with the old H L I and bugle pattern. Titles changed to w. m. in 1954." and he illustrates many one- and two-piece variants and bugle designs.

Thanks and cheers! I had thought the HIGHLAND title to be earlier, but here we have the correct time period.
