Default RGA slip on?

Was a Royal Garrison Artillery title taken into wear during the FWW? RGA in buff or white on khaki worsted material?

Yes Bill white on khaki was worn in the FWW for RGA, RFA, RHA indeed most regiments had a version, styles are embroidered, printed and painted. Introduced in late 1915 but seen in use from mid 1916 onwards initially as slip ons but a later order instructed that they were sewn to the top of the shoulder.

Thanks Mark. That clears up an image I was sent. The slip-on was on a bit of an angle and it represented as RCA, but the RCA was not organized as such in the FWW. It was CFA and CGA.

Thanks Jon, that it the slip-on in question. It is at an oblique angle in the image and it was purported to be RCA. As noted above, that was not possible.
